Since 1920, the exchange of experience in our technical groups and committees has been the key to our success. More than 1,600 experts work on current issues and challenges of our industry and create individual benefits for all participants from the joint work.

Working committees and technical programmes form the basis of the exchange of experience and cooperation between members and with other stakeholders in the industry and are the main source of value-added services provided by the association to its member companies. These benefits also include our Technical Services in the areas of laboratories (materials, water chemistry, oil), engineering consulting around the topics of maintenance, operational optimisation, damage clarification and prevention as well as supervision of construction and assembly (vgbe service).
