VGB PowerTech e.V., the technical association of power plant operators, has revised its brand appearance. With an additional “e” in the abbreviation as well as with its motto “Energy is us”, the association clarifies its claim to develop future technologies for an environmentally friendly, safe, economical and affordable energy supply.
vgbe stands for “vision generation benefit”. Behind the new brand stands also a strong request – “be”! vgbe thus sees itself as an active partner in energy supply: be energised, be inspired, be connected, be informed, i.e., the association wants to be a communicator, bridge and platform for its members.
The new brand identity was presented at the VGB Congress “100 Years VGB PLUS”, which opened today in Essen. The new corporate design consequently expresses the new orientation of the association towards the expansion of renewables and the importance of dispatchable power”, said Dr. Georg Stamatelopoulos, chairman of the association.
The logo and other design elements have changed in the brand appearance. Strong colours underline the active part of vgbe. Different coloured logos, which also represent the motto “Energy is us”, visualise the wide range of services offered by vgbe.
