Based on the successful cooperation between vgbe and Polish power plant operators in the past and fruitful discussions between vgbe and TGPE to intensify the exchange between vgbe and the Polish power generation sector, vgbe and TGPE agree on a MoU. In addition to the exchange of experience and information, joint activities, events and projects are to be initiated in the future.

The intensified cooperation was started in Warsaw in a first workshop with presentations describing the general situation of the energy sectors in Poland (Director Waldemar Szulc, TGPE) and Germany (Managing Director Dr Oliver Then, vgbe) as well as the topics CCS (Director Paweł Woszczyk, TGPE) and utilization of biomass (Dr Thomas Eck, vgbe).
