About the journal
Brief description
As an international technical association for the generation and storage of electricity and heat, vgbe energy e.V. bundles common tasks and interests of the industry. Technical questions from operators, manufacturers, service providers as well as from research and development are vgbe´s field of activity. In addition, vgbe coordinates central activities of member companies in international cooperation.
This applies to development, planning, construction and operation in particular with regard to
- ✓ the use of new technologies (conventional and renewable),
- ✓ environmental compatibility,
- ✓ economic efficiency,
- ✓ operational and plant safety as well as labour safety,
- ✓ competitiveness of different technologies and
- ✓ relevant legislation.
About 1,600 experts are involved in the work of vgbe.
